If you reach the decision to host your domains with our company and you choose any of our cloud hosting, you’ll be able to set up spam filtering for any mailbox that you set up. With a few clicks in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you can switch between 5 separate levels of security. If you still get junk email messages or the filters start preventing legitimate emails from reaching your inbox, you can switch to some other level just as easily. The quality of our spam detection solution is ensured by one of the most popular email filters – SpamAssassin. In case you do not want to risk skipping a legitimate message that may be blocked as spam due to its content, you can also create custom email filters based on the body, the sender or the subject of the message and forward the emails to another mailbox where you can view them later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated servers, you won’t need to worry about unsolicited bulk emails filling up your mailboxes every once in a while, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we offer with every account. Our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with several clicks of the mouse and you can select one of the 5 safety levels – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any time if, for instance, genuine messages get blocked, or if spam messages go through and reach your inbox. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered messages to be redirected to a special email account such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t missed an authentic message.
