AAAA Records in Cloud Hosting
If you are using a service through a third-party service provider and you've got to create an AAAA record to forward a domain address or a subdomain to their system, you're going to be able to do that with just a couple of mouse clicks within the Hepsia Control Panel, included with our cloud hosting solutions. Once you sign in, you have to visit the DNS Records section where you will find all of the records for any domain or subdomain hosted in the account. Setting up a new record is as simple as clicking on a button, selecting the type from a drop-down options menu, that is to be AAAA in this case, and then inserting the value, or the actual IPv6 address, within a text box. As an added option you can change the TTL value (Time To Live), which defines how long the record is active after you change it or delete it in the future. The new AAAA record will be functioning in no more than an hour and will propagate globally a few hours later, so the hostname for which you have created it will start directing to the new web server.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
When you have a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to set up an AAAA record for a domain address you have hosted in it or a subdomain you have set up, it is going to take you only a few clicks in the Hepsia Control Panel to do that. Even if you have never had a web hosting account before, you will not experience any difficulties since you will use a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All the DNS records for your domain names are going to be listed in a section of the Control Panel with the exact same name, so as soon as you go there, you will notice all records which have been created automatically or manually and you're going to be able to create a new one by clicking on the corresponding button. A little pop-up shall appear, so with just a few clicks you can choose the type of record you need and for which domain name or subdomain it's going to be created. Next, just paste the IPv6 address in a text box, save the change and 1 hour later the new AAAA record will be 100% active. As an optional setting, you can pick how long this record is going to be working after you edit it or remove it in the future. This is the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can modify from the default 3600 seconds in case the other company requires it.
